African Blue-bellied Roller
These are such beautiful birds (at the Calgary Zoo) - love the brilliant blue feathers that you can just see in the bottom right corner. Will post an image of the whole bird another time. They are called African Blue-bellied Rollers because of their aerial "rolling" during courtship and territorial displays. From Africa, these birds are found in Senegal and Gambia, to the Sudan. Shot through glass, which I never like doing.
