Bowness Park is a very popular place for people to go and enjoy a few hours. There is a large, flat area with trees and picnic tables, but I'm sure that not everyone goes walking through the woods there. It is a beautiful trail and yesterday the fall colours were a joy to see. All sorts of interesting things in nature to find, including mushrooms, lichens, remains of plants and several huge Douglas-fir trees.
