This was left out - there are no vehicles on this island [except for emergency] -
Have you ever seen UPS delivered by horse?

Only transport permitted is by horse- bicycle-by foot or by the carriages that tour the island. IF you are ever in Michigan -- go to the island ... but, take warm clothing to layer .. went in July -- it was windy and cold.. even 3 layers didn't stop the cold !

But wouldn't have missed the experience for anything..
