On a precarious rough road, you will find the Monastery of Peter & Paul. The new(ish) monastery of the Archangels and very old church of Saints Peter and Paul, is set on a cliff overlooking the beach of Gourna and the wind turbines seen off into the distance. The old church dates back to 10th/11th centuries
