Yes, as Jan said, the version in color could have stayed.
But as an image I like this black and white version a lot. The main subject, which already is metal gray, does not compete with the background. In color version the red background actually demaded a lot of attention ;-)
I think my old Mac does not support anymore picmonkey..........I tried to update the browser but could not succeed.
so I charged the image on flickr, modified it there (easy) and downloaded on the pc again....
by the way....... the substitution of images does not work on ipernity......... can you check? may be this is also only a problem of my nearly obsolete Mac.
Yes, the 'actions menu > replace' has stopped working for some reason. I have reported it inside ima team, and we are looking for a solution to get it fixed.
PicMonkey at ipernity is no longer option because the Adobe Flash is no longer supported. This has been discussed several times during last year. For example here:

By the way, which software did you use?

So, a "built in" online editor at ipernity is no longer an option. Therefore I recommend this:
1) Either use the original on your computer, or download a copy from your ipernity albums.
2) Use some free software (download and install) or an online editor:
a) GIMP for computer: www.gimp.org
b) ipiccy online editor: ipiccy.com
3) Upload the new version to ipernity.

PS I tried Ipiccy.....can not update the browser .......like picmonkey
Now I try the gimp...lets see......
Thanks a lot!
Greetings from a sunny Roma:)

So, did you get the GIMP installed and working?
And what could be the reason why you can't update the browser?
Wishing that I could help more.
