Hmm.. I keep looking at this because I love the wonky lions and all the thick layers of paint. No real idea where but try somewhere around Spitalfields?
You are not far Jen, well done for a guess... These lions are on a door that must have been painted over quite a few times I'd say, given how long the building has been standing there (parts of it date back to 1504).
I know how much Jim likes to guess churches, but I'll throw out the first one: St Katharine Cree (one I've actually been inside, not that I remember seeing any lions there)?
Excellent! First one is the right one! St Katharine Cree Church, 86 Leadenhall Street. The lions are on the doors outside... The stained glass window is beautiful! Well done :-)
