Happy Fence Friday, All

Broad Street, Oxford. Always plenty of activity :-)

Broad Street lies just north of the former Oxford city wall. The street is known for the original Blackwell's bookshop. It is one of the most famous and historic bookshops in the world, It sits on the opposite side of the road kinda near to where I was standing to take this photo :-) Blackwells was Founded in 1879 by Benjamin Henry Blackwell.

The Street is traditionally known as The Broad.

Broad is also a slang term for a woman so for 'Sight and Sound' I have chosen 'Good Hearted Woman' by Waylon Jennings.

Also added to Sight and Sound : Pictures & Music

Busy street life in Oxford. For the song, "Heart of Gold" by Neil Young would have been great, too. ♫✯♫✯♫ And congrats for your 1st place (between you and me)~•✼•~ HFF Roger.
