A small part of the Hurst Castle Wall, Milford-on-Sea.

Hurst Castle is an artillery fort established by Henry VIII on the Hurst Spit in Hampshire, England between 1541 and 1544.

Thanks very much, Christa. It was a very long and difficult walk to get to the castle. By the time I got there I realised I needed to do much longer walk to get back to the hotel. I decided it was best to head on back to the hotel and I very much intend to go back to Milton-on-Sea on another occasion and spend much more time at the Castle :-)
