"Leaving On A Jet Plane"

Explored! ~ Thank you very much :-)))

There are probably several planes in the sky here. The main one has, most likely, just left London Luton Airport.

Therefore, methinks this is a fair link to John Denver's "Leaving On A Jet Plane" :-)

It was recorded by Peter, Paul & Mary and released on their 1967 Album "1700".
It didn't become a hit for them until they released it as a single in 1969.

Of course I musn't leave out John's version and I found one by John and Cass Elliot.

What a great perspective! This is really beautiful.

I always loved Peter, Paul and Mary's rendition of this since it's the one I grew up with, but this one with John Denver and Mama Cass just sends chills all over me! Two such beautiful people, gone way too soon. Great combination Roger!
