You saw one! Love their antics.The one thing that spoils all these shots (for all of us) is the mass of bird poo. B&W hides it very well.

I just added the 'c. 30 sea lions'... They actually closed down Pier 39 for boats because of them. They were so entertaining! I could have stayed there for hours...

@ Mark: Thanks! :-) It was actually quite dark - and I wondered if my camera has a kind of infrared device... :-) - I only wanted to show that there wasn't only one sea lion (see 'oldbones' comment). Most of them hang about on the left side of this sea lion. Seems he enjoyed the peace and quiet...

Nicely captured moment! As to sea lions smelling, unmmm, they stink when there are a lot of them around, especially if its their home. Of course stink is a relative term!
