From the train

For part of the trip, the train between Kiama and Wollongong runs adjacent to the beach. This was taken from the train as it passed the beach at Bombo, with Bombo Headland standing out in the distance.

The train between Sydney, Wollongong and Kiama (weekdays) is a good run and roughly every hour. Weekends can be more problematic due to track work (I recently found myself on three different trains) and apparently it can be with buses.
