New Year in the Southern Hemisphere is notable for all the great fresh fruits available. Cherries, such as these, are at their prime and very tasty indeed.

Oh, definitely. So yummy! I used to live in a cherry tree lined street, so beautiful in the spring when they have blossoms. And then the cherry harvest later on... :-)
