Tropic benches

These benches are situated just a few metres within the Tropic of Capricorn, which is marked by a nearby cairn, shown in the PiP.

How interesting that you have been there! In Southern Hemisphere it's the Tropic of Capricorn, in Northern Hemisphere the Tropic of Cancer. Both are the latitude on Earth where the Sun can be seen directly overhead. HBM George.
