Pauline's rose (+)

I took this image a week ago, the day prior to Pauline's passing. It was her favourite rose and had just come into bloom.

Carftwork was Pauline's passion. In the PiPs I have included a series of images of some of her work - or, as I usually described it, "rags and string". She had a real talent, loved nothing better than a new challenge, and was always available to assist others in her craft groups.

Sorry, I'm afraid other issues are still taking priority with my time! Have a great weekend, everyone.

Here are a few of the images in the PiPs:

This quilt hangs in our lounge.
SMALL IMGP0732-1
Embroidered jewellery box.
SMALL IMGP0727-1
3D embroidery called "stumpwork.

Thank you, George, for sharing with us some of Pauline's wonderful work. They are all so beautiful and reveal her painstaking skill and her artistic eye. Paverpol Dragon is my favorite but they are all little works of art. She left you not only a wealth of memories but also her precious work in which a bit of her survives and I am sure she would have approved of you remembering her to us through the work that was her passion. Wishing you strength and courage in this terribly painful time.
