A change from snow

A change from my series of old Antarctic images, not to mention the northern winter. This is our local beach this morning, just a few minutes walk from home. Yes, the water was every bit as pleasant as it looks (23C) and the day warm but not too hot (32C). Gee it was tough, but I felt I had to do it for you, my good friends, just so I could bring you this report. :-)

But you don't have the joy of ice fishing. Sitting in a little shack around a hole in the ice. Nothing like it. And you have to rent an auger. Nothing like it. Not at all.

I realize it must have been tough having to venture down to the beach and perhaps dipping a toe into the water, George. Tolerating a temperature of 32C must have been like living in hell. Thank you so much for going through this terrible trial for the Ipernity community. ;-)))
