Not as they seemed

I was very taken by the abundant colourful yellow flowers on the hillsides and alongside the roads in New Zealand's South Island, until I found they were gorse and broom - invasive weeds. So I decided to use my macro of them for this orb.

Here's a musical link.

This is beautiful George.... and so is Gorse and Broom ! But then.. where I come from they were not invasive... they were native !

I'd have to admit they looked great, Pam. Sadly, like many introduced species (in many places) they have gone feral.

This Orb is a gem! Beautiful light and beautiful colour. A great match to a classic track by Donovan. Faved work and cheers for posting to 'Sight and Sound', George.
