Mystery fungus
A fungus I found growing on Auckland Island. No idea of the ID, I just liked the shapes and colours: in any case, there is little information on the many species of fungus unique to the islands.
Explored.

image ... they do say here when algae grows on some
branches that it is good air that allows it to flourish,
I always think thats a bit strange really ... as its only
some that have it and others don't ... mind you I
perhaps am walking around with fungus on my
face too ;-))))) sorry ... my humour this morning
