Poppy Anthers Glowing in the Morning Light

It's hard to capture the intense beauty of these flowers with pictures because to truly understand how special poppies are, you must be there to see them with your own eyes. However, I hope that my three images have done this blossom enough justice that you get the basic idea! :) Here you can see a close-up of the golden anthers, covered in pollen and ready for visitations by bees, flower flies, pollen-loving wasps and other insects! And how lucky I am to have such a lovely flower to admire! ) Poppies take my breath away!!!

All these silky layers look like a fine fabric for a skirt. This way the flower has something very female to it (although it may be just my impression). A very beautiful piture with an unusual perspective.
