Rough Eyelash Bud in Pink

The petals look a little bit like fingers, don't they?! :D

From Wiki: This is an unassuming small annual plant native to the northwestern United States. It raises slender, fuzzy stems, atop which bloom a daisylike flower head. Its ray florets are white with purple markings and the center of the flower is packed with white disc florets with purple anthers. The fruit is a dark achene which often bears a pappus of a few stiff, light colored bristles. The rough eyelash grows in forests at some elevation. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blepharipappus

That is pretty gorgeous, isn't it, even though it is 'just' budding. I like how you shot it, almost like a fist coming out of the corner. A wonderful shot, Janet.
