[best appreciated at full size against black]

On my frosty photo walk around our property, I noticed that this leaf got stuck on its fall to the ground, and stood at crisp attention, frozen in time. Close inspection revealed a very fine line of frost along some of the edges, and it was positioned just right to see a lovely translucent glow of sunlight. I also love how the burrs seem to be looking at this awesome leaf in amazement! :D
