The other morning I was looking for new flowers and noticed a tiny bug on a developing burr seed. Its shape reminded me of a leaf-hopper, but when I kneeled down to take a closer look, I could hardly believe my eyes! A bug with a proboscis nose! Something I have never seen in my life!! Measuring in at only 1/4", the only reason I saw this guy was because he wasn't blending in with the burr! What a find!!! If you know the proper name of this bug, I'd love to know; my searches came up with nothing.
