Molten Bubbles in our Stream
[best appreciated at full size against black]
We have a seasonal pond that starts to fill in late Fall and dries up in late Spring/early Summer. It's fed by one of our two seasonal streams, which can grow to the size of a small creek during heavy storms. On this day, I wondered what sort of image I would get if I took a macro shot where water flowing over a rock was producing frothy bubbles. I think the result is quite interesting, with odd little pink specks and an almost oily appearance around the molten-like bubbles. I hope you like it!
