I mentioned yesterday that I'd discovered a bunch of new flowers that I'd take pictures of today, and the first one that I found was this gorgeous, extremely tiny flower which is only about 1/8" in diameter! It's called a Slender Popcornflower and even though I saw these last spring, I missed taking pictures because I was distracted by other flowers, and then I thought I'd taken pictures of them already. By the time I realized my error, they had faded away, so I was thrilled to see their happy faces smiling up at me this morning! And how wonderful that it rained during the night, just look at this droplet-festooned blossom! :D (By the way, this is the 162nd Flower of Spring & Summer, and you can read more about it on the next picture!)
