This pretty herb has lovely sprays of yellow flower radiating from its center, and I love the extremely small "mini blossoms" that you can see if you get a really close look! I've included my picture from last year below so you can see individual blossoms! :)

This plant, which smells similar to parsley, is edible--both the leaves and starchy root--and is a traditional food of Native Americans. One species is used as an herbal medicine for coughs and upper respiratory infections, including tuberculosis!
