Washoe County, Nevada. The lake dried up in the early 20th century due to irrigation diversions for the Newlands Project, as I've described elsewhere:

Here we're looking slightly west of south from near the entrance to Tufa Cave, about which I'll post Real Soon Now. The very high abandoned shorelines visible in the satellite view are not from the historical lake, but from Pleistocene Lake Lahontan.
