I've noticed this too many times without searching for a place to see it. It's always at a time when I'm just hurrying to get into or around the greater Reno area. Isn't this near a 'famous' ranch?

It's actually 10 miles or so downstream (east) of the old Mustang Ranch, not too far from the Wadsworth exit. There's a big pulloff and parking area here which is used for fishing access. It's even "formal" enough to have a pedestrian pass-thru in the right-of-way fence!

The colours are fabulous- this certainly must be the best time for visiting!

I've driven this patch of 80 twice, and both times the highway was so packed that I saw none of it.
