I think you're getting fooled by the scale--it's not so big nor so far as it looks. "Harbor" is a bit high-falutin ;) It's just a walled embankment (not a building) with a floating dock attached. The boat's capacity is supposed to be 37 passengers, and looks to be 25-30 ft long. Here's a telephoto of the boats:

There are three: the Rogue, the Umpqua, and the Klamath--named for the three rivers that head on Mt. Mazama, the mountain whose summit caldera holds Crater Lake.

There are boat trips out to Wizard Island; unfortunately, the season didn't start till the weekend after we were there! On the bucket list now--
