White River Falls State Park, Oregon, USA. The White River rises on Mt. Hood and flows eastward to the Deschutes River. We're looking downstream here, below White River Falls. The ruins of an abandoned hydropower station can be seen in the canyon; it dated from when natural falls were used to provide the hydraulic head.
