Windmill, with cows
Bluewing Flat, Nevada, USA. Traditionally, isolated windmills drive a water pump to fill a trough for the livestock (and, of course, wildlife can also drink there). For a while diesel-powered pumps were often used, but we've been amused to note in the last few years that many of the traditional windmills have shiny new blades! The wind is cost-effective again--
