It had been completed barely 6 months when this photo was taken. Note the slot carved out of the canyon wall beyond the bridge where Glen Canyon Dam will be built.

Glad you liked it! It was a family trip over a three-day weekend (Labor Day, the 1st Monday in September), and I barely remember it. I was all of 6 at the time ;) At least my dad took slides, and if the underexposure's not too bad, Photoshop can at least make them recognizable.
