Disaster!
Uploaded for tha Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of DISASTER (but could also be viewed as a statement on the recent Republican midterm results.)
Haha.
The photographs show an unknown disaster in the album I bought and labeled "Michigan Album" although I'm actually not sure that's where the photographer lived.
It look like a severe flood - and shows the men are clearing ice jams from a river and creating ice banks.
The first photo below is next to this one in the album, and on a page with other photos labelled 1909.The second photo below is glued in nine pages away, and is very poor quality (I edited it heavily) Maybe they just stuck it in later to fill a space. Other photos on that pagei are labelled 1913.
Is it the same disaster?
The tipped house is not the one pictured in the second photo.
