He was obsessed with trains - but the only trains near us were long distance ones and not feasible. Then we found a tourist fall foliage train in southern Vermont that we could ride on to the next town (From Chester Depot to Bellows Falls) and back again. About twenty miles round trip.
It was a dream come true for him!
Here we are, still in Chester Depot station, but about to leave. The train was standing still, I promise.
