Mailman, bring me no more blues
One more heartache is all I can use.
(I became slightly maudlin to discover that people will sell their family photographs. Still, why not?)

Classic photo of a mailman! (I don't think I could sell my family photos -- especially if it was as good as this one is -- even if I did make copies.)

Limbo and Alan - I’m with you both - I could *never* give away or sell family photos! I have actually argued with everyone who gave me family pictures (at the library) and even with this woman who was selling them (“are you sure? I could never do this!") but the response was either “I've made copies” “I don’t know most of these people” or “I’m getting rid of stuff and don’t need this”.
I’m sure they think I’m as odd as I think them.
Limbo, I don’t know that blues song, but the quote is powerful!

The Limbo Connection replied to Deborah Lundbech:

Buddy Holly released the song in 1957, and it subsequently became a regular in early Beatles concerts.

Deborah Lundbech replied to The Limbo Connection:

hmmm. Interesting, Limbo. I've never heard of it.
My brother holds an unofficial P.h.D. in Beatles lore. Knowing him, he’s probably transcribed it, could sing it and play it at the drop of a hat (with three part harmony backup), and holds strong opinions on their best version.

The picture I am forming of your family suggests that you are a splendid bunch of decent people.

“A splendid bunch of decent people”. I love this description!
I would say on most days for most family members that’s mostly true.
Thank you!
