Alexandre Gourdin (1842-1865); French baritone who died at the very early age of 23. He made his debut in 1860 at the Opéra-Comique in Paris. He sang various premières: the role of Claude in Cohen's "Maître Claude" (1861), Baskir in David's "Lalla Roukh" (1862), Ezzelin in Maillart's "Lara" (1864) and Capitain Parole in David's "Le saphir" (1865).
