Ilma de Murska, born Ema Pukšec (1834-1889);Croatian soprano.
Her professional career started late; in 1862 she made her debut in Florence as Lady Harriet in “Martha”. She had an international career and performed in Hungary, Austria, Spain, Italy, England and Ireland. Her London appearances were from 1865 until after 1873 and were generally in connection with James Henry Mapleson’s company. She made her London debut as Lucia di Lammermoor at Her Majesty's Theatre. Her appearance as Queen of the night in 1865 was a great success.
On the photo she is seen as Queen of the night in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte”.
