Originally built as the Reichsgericht in 1879, which was the highest court for civil and criminal cases. The Reichsgericht was abolished in 1945. The Bundesverwaltungsgericht (Federal Administrative Court) was located here in 2002. It is the highest court for all cases of administrative law.
