Berlin 2023 – Bode Museum – Hippodrome ball game

It was a gambling device. Four differently coloured balls would be entered at the top and the first one to arrive at the bottom would win the game. Chariot racing was very popular in Constantinople. There were four teams: the Blues (Veneti), the Greens (Prasini), the Reds (Russati), and the Whites (Albati).
