Cosimo Rosselli, 1476, in the Chiostrino dei Voti

Building of the Basilica della Santissima Annunziata (Basilica of the Most Holy Annunciation) started in 1250 and there were additions until the 17th century. The church kept its baroque interior, unlike other Florentine churches. Work on this cloister was started in 1447.
