Athens 2020 – Acropolis – View of Athens with the Pedestal of Agrippa

The Pedestal was first dedicated to the victory in the chariot races of Eumenes II of Pergamon in 178 BC, it had a quadriga on the top. Around 27 BC it was replaced by a quadriga for Marcus Agrippa, who restored the Odeon of Athens. It is not known when the quadriga disappeared.
