This gable stone depicts the story of the Stingray Stabbers of Weert. A Stingray fell from a cart of a fisherman and the people of Weert, who had never seen a Stingray, thought it was the Devil. They tried to stab it with a spear. In the end the fisherman came back and explained everything and than the people of Weert thought they were a bit silly.
