“Prettige feestdagen” is Dutch for nice/pleasent public holidays, of which there are three: two Christmas days and New Year's Day.

In shops and so on the salutation “prettige feestdagen” often becomes “prettige dagen” (happy days).

Well, first Christmas and then New Year's Day. If it just said "Prettige Kerstdagen", it would have be removed on December 27, while you can leave this text until Epiphany, it is getting your money's worth.
