Dordt in Stoom 2012 – Steam tug Scheelenkuhlen

Scheelenkuhlen dates from 1927. It spent its active life in Germany in the German Bight and in the Elbe mouth. Retired in 1974 and sold to P. Visser in the Netherlands. Restored and now a sailing monument.

Dordt in Stoom is the largest steam festival in Europe. It is held every two years at Dordrecht, the Netherlands. Ships, trains, rollers, tractors, machines, all powered by steam and a variety of other old stuff.
