Great angle! I went to a baseball game in New York about 30 years ago - possibly at the old Yankees stadium? - and couldn't understand a thing, but the atmosphere was great.

Val, this is such a neat shot. (It almost looks like you borrowed Wendi's broom to get it.) Was it a good game?

The last pro baseball game I went to was back in the late 70s at the King Dome in Seattle. I went with my dad and we had beers and nachos. The Mariners lost, but it was a good time still. I love baseball. :)

Valfal replied to Karen's Place:

Thanks, Karen! If I recall, it was a good game; Mariano Rivera was the closing pitcher that day, which meant that it was a close game, but a winning one. My first baseball game was in the late 70's; my then boyfriend (who is now my hubby) turned me on to the sport, and I have been a diehard Yankee fan ever since. Even a move to "Birdland" (home of the Baltimore Orioles) couldn't kill my love for the Bronx Bombers. About the best I could muster was to become a big fan of Cal Ripkin, Jr., who played his whole career with the O's.

Wow Karen, we must be soul sisters, we have so much in common! :-)
