Genuine Imitation

I found this beautiful red leather jacket at a souvenier shop in Disney Word (of all places!), and noticed the very patriotic-looking tag inside the coat. Upon further examination, I saw a tiny little black tag with the words "Made in China" sewn right underneath the BIG "USA LEATHER" tag. I laughed my butt off and then snapped this picture.

GREAT FIND!!!
This is hilarious and so ridiculous. The sad thing is that most people would never notice this!

LOVE the picture, it's just perfect. And thank you for the giggle!

Made in China ... urk too many items with this tag I'm afraid. It's so hard to find things that are made in this country and I know that it is the same problem for other countries as well. Good catch on this Val ... like the vivid red.

Thanks much, Christine! Everything in our country seems to be made in China! A real oxymoron is to buy a souvenier from Niagra Falls that was made in China, lol!

The sharpness is great - really adds to the image. And a great catch! I know what you mean by everything made in the Orient. I wasn't going to say anything, but my Alamo plate in one of my shots was actually made in Japan! Back when it was new, that was the problem - everything was made in Japan. There was even a song called "Made In Japan," in reference to this that was released in 1972.
