OM-10

This was an Ebay find. The rewind and shutter locks up when the battery is dead. Probably the reason it was sold.

Thanks Harriet! Just a touch of HDR ... the rest is a no flash tungsten lighted room.

I have a couple camera that do that as well. I just assumed it was because they were all electric and wouldn't function at all wihout a battery like some of the older cameras will.

I just bought a Yashica Mat 124G on EBay. A bit of a gamble ... it was being sold cheap due to the rewind lever not turning and the shutter not firing. It was the last of the TLR cameras and the rewind lever cocked the shutter on this one, thus eliminating the chance of double exposures. It also had a shutter lock to keep from accidental exposure of the film. I noticed the EBay photos showed the shutter lock was on. We'll see in a few days if I won or lost the gamble. :-)
