The New Bathroom

The corner tub/shower combo is on a raised platform to give clearance for the p-trap. The marble like asphalt tiles are grouted in just like the real thing.

It's very big! Each of those floor tiles are a foot square and you're not seeing all of them in the photo.

That's a great-sized bathroom! I envy you! My main bathroom was an afterthought, I think. The house was built when I think they used outhouses, so the bathroom is kind of stuck on at the back of the kitchen and is less than 6' x 10'.

Thanks Kenny! The original house plans had the bathroom inside the third bedroom, but the bathroom was a lot smaller and we thought it also made the bedroom too small. We moved it to the unfinished mechanical room to make it bigger and to get the ceiling height we thought it needed with the raised shower platform.
