The chalk on our front walk right now is Paris-themed for the Olympics. The female figure is based loosely on a photograph of artist Marie Bracquemond (1840-1916); she has a rose in her hair, a plate of macarons, an Olympic gold medal, and the Eiffel Tower with a French flag in the background.
