Four stages in the development of today's chalk art project in Belmont Shore--sketch, skin, foliage, fabric, more or less. With a chalk art project, you usually work out from the middle, so the face/body were done first, then the leaves and flowers and background, and finally the details--pattern on the garment, jewels in the hair, etc.
