Nice natural colours, and it looks like a genuine sky.

Howard Somerville replied to Isisbridge:

It is. A cable has been removed, otherwise it's 100% genuine. And the camera was straight - the tower has a pronounced westward lean.

Isisbridge replied to Howard Somerville:

I thought you couldn't have developed such a list after visiting the pub. But why the square format? tt would be better suited to a portrait size, as Roy suggested. The extra foliage is not needed on the right, especially that intruding piece of fir. (now gone)

Howard Somerville replied to Isisbridge:

I'll remove the intruding fir, but it'll stay square because a picture looks better with some lead-in, horizontal as well as vertical.

Isisbridge replied to Howard Somerville:

For that amount of horizontal lead-in you would need a lot more on the bottom edge.
Roy is a past master on the subject of lead, as you well know.

Howard Somerville replied to Isisbridge:

Yes, he's heavily into it.

He loves the leaden sky.

Howard Somerville replied to Isisbridge:

As befits a man of his mettle.

The tree was the shape you see, but its RH edge has now been "rusticated" to look better.
