And the Americans say we aren't as patriotic as them as we don't do flag waving and swearing alliegance, etc. I say it's good to see the odd flag here and there but too many and the effect tends to cloy.

Union Jacks are certainly in vogue at the moment, but are unlikely to remain so beyond the Coronation. This was the only one, though, that I saw today in Oxfordshire.

Unfortunately, too many of them are turning blue and yellow.
